Outside of Hancock’s of Paducah

Hancock’s of Paducah opened its doors in 1969 and is a local store. It’s not part of a chain. It’s specifically located in Paducah, Kentucky. This fabric shop is around five hours from where I live.

During our visit to The National Quilt Museum we also visited this huge fabric store in Paducah, Kentucky. My wife and I spent an hour in there.

A Fabric Lover’s Dream

There is tons and tons of bolts of fabric to choose from for quilting or even projects such as what Steve Sews makes here on his site.

Stepping into Hancock’s is like entering a kaleidoscope of color and texture. The store boasts an impressive selection of fabrics, from classic cottons to luxurious silks, catering to every taste and project. Whether you’re a seasoned quilter or a beginner just starting out, you’re sure to find the perfect fabric to inspire your creativity.

Thank you for visiting our store! Just so your followers know, we don’t have any classes at this time. Fortunately, the Quilt Museum and AQS bring lots of wonderful quilt instructors to town! We love having quilters shop here in-person and our store hours are Tuesday-Friday 9-5 and Saturday 9-3.
