Sewing Machines

Meet The Masked Bandit

Meet The Masked Bandit – The sewing machine I first started making face mask in 2020. I got it at KARM, a thrift store in Talbott, TN.

Meet The Masked Bandit

The Masked Bandit is an older Singer sewing machine, I got back in May of 2020.

This Singer Sewing Machine later stopped working. The fabric wouldn’t feed nor settings change. I replaced the dogs, teeth plate. Thinking that was it and Still nothing.

I was told by someone who had the same Singer, they said it was the gears on theirs, as it did the same thing. The repair person told her, it was cheaper to get a new machine than to repair it.

Note: That is not how many threads can go in it! I just put those spools of thread on the top for the photo. Which shows you pretty much what I had used to start SteveZ MaskZ!

So I had to get another sewing machine, since I had some orders, which helped to fund the new sewing machine. (Stay tuned for that blog post!)

I still have this Singer, if anyone knows how to fix it that lives near me, let me know. Thanks!

I plan to share other equipment used for SteveZ MaskZ. So stay tuned for more Meet series.
